Sister Constance was said to be a deaconess in St Andrew's Palmerston North about 1919-1920, although there is no mention of Sister Constance in the short history contained within St Andrew's Presbyterian Church Palmerston North 1878-1960. On the back of this photograph it is written: "To dear Mrs Aitchison, with the Bestist love from the original". It is thought she is connected to the Sara and Campbell Aitchison family.
