On Wednesday 3rd November 2021 River Stop Awapuni held an event at Boho Cafe to celebrate the Awapuni neighbourhood, as part of city-wide Local History Week celebrations. Vijay and Margaret Patel are the much loved owner/operators of the Awapuni Four Square dairy, on Maxwells Line. Vijay spoke about their store and time in the neighbourhood. Manawatū People's Radio were present at the event and have kindly shared their audio files for our archives.
