Henry Dittmer, 'Toddles' the dog and 'Punch' the horse are taking wool to the depot for pick up. Henry Dittmer farmed cattle and sheep with his four sons, Herman, John, Henry and William, on Scott's Road, Kahuterawa, c 1904-1920, also known as Hill Top Road and Motu Rimu. When the land was bought in 1904 it had to be cleared and a sawmill was established to process the timber.
