This photograph must have been taken between 1896 (when Bunting Photographic Studio existed in The Square) and 1900 (when Arthur Hopwood started his hardware business beside Millers Beehive). There is an interesting street scene taking place with horse carts moving through The Square, complete with a dog running alongside.
