Win Reesby (nee Parker) and her daughter Pat, with Hannah Parker. Hannah and Win were the daughters of John and Sarah Parker who developed a dairy farm on Banks Line, Rongotea in 1920. When they died the farm was taken on by Hannah Parker and her brother John. Win and Pat lived on the farm with Hannah and John for a number of years during the 1950s, after Pat's father, Bill, died.

John and Sarah Parker had a dairy farm on Banks Line, Rongotea. They farmed it from 1920 until their deaths, and it continued to be farmed by two of their children, John Jnr and Hannah until 1989. Sarah and John (Snr) Parker are shown with two of their sons, Robert and Edward (Ted). Robert was the eldest child and died in a drowning accident in 1928. Ted was born in 1913.

Hannah Parker, was born in Bunnythorpe in 1911. In 1920 the family moved to Banks Line, Rongotea where they developed a dairy farm. Hannah never married and after her parents' deaths she continued to farm the land with her brother John until she died in 1988.

The farm was first developed and farmed by Sarah and John Parker from 1920, and was later worked by two of their children, John and Hannah Parker until 1989.
