The Palmerston North Heritage Trust made two awards for significant contributions to Palmerston North's history, at an occasion at Caccia Birch on 18 June, 2019.
Clive Akers was awarded Local Historian of the Year, and Manawatū Heritage was acknowledged for the part it plays in preserving our local history.
