Jennifer Ruth Shailer in her Girls Life Brigade uniform. This photograph was taken by Irene Koppell, Jennifer's aunt, in front of the family home at 8 Martin Street, Palmerston North. She joined the organisation when she was 6. The Girls Life Brigade later became a part of the general Girls Brigade movement.
