"Porker and Baconer Competition" Kiwi Challenge Rose Bowl Winner

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 11 November 1958: "the final judging for the champion baconer carcase took place at Longburn this morning. Mr. I.L. Knight, of Newbury, was successful in winning the Kiwi Challenger Rose Bowl with his "pair". On his right is Mr. C.S. McNally, the manager of the Kiwi bacon factory at Longburn, who made the presentation."
