This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 26 January 1961: "The Victor Air Tourer, a tricycle undercarriage low-wing monoplane, circles over Palmerston North at the weekend. It was demonstrated to members of the Palmerston North Aero Club as a replacment for obsolete former military types of training aircraft."
