Leslie and Clarice Weston-Webb lived in Bunnythorpe with their three children, Roland (b.1932), Barbara (b. 1935) and Audrey (b.1937). Leslie Weston -Webb ran the Bunnythorpe Garage. After he died in 1942 the family moved to Palmerston North. Leslie was a keen movie maker and showed his movies to the All Saints Children's Home and the Willard Home..
