This photograph shows the 1912 Palmerston North Technical College Hockey Club. The caption reads, " Winners of the Manawatu Hockey Association Junior Championship and MacLean Shield 1910, 1911, 1912. Standing - Mr Opie (President), B Sutton (Goal), R Inkpen (Forward), L Davis (Half-back), W Mardon (Half-back), F McSweeney (Half-back). Sitting - A Simmonds (Full-back), V Bergersen (Forward), J Barnard, Vice-Captain (Forward), C Aitchison, Captain (Forward), V Liddell (Forward), S Hunt (Forward). Absent - W Hocking (Secretary), K Perrin (Full-back)." There is a note on the back of the image that reads, "Top row, first on right is George McLaren". The image comes from the school archive of Queen Elizabeth College.
