Dried-Milk Factory at Bunnythorpe

Description

This is the second dried-milk factory destroyed by fire. The factory was owned by the Imperial Dried Milk Company Limited, a subsidiary of Joseph Nathan & Company Limited of Wellington. On the far right of the photograph can be seen a portion of the cheese factory also owned by Nathan & Co. The “Glaxo” factory at Bunnythorpe stood [1971] on the site of the old factory.
