Recent Recruits

Description

A group of about twenty recent recruits pose with a uniformed soldier outside a wooden building. It was probably taken at the Awapuni Racecourse, which was home to one of New Zealand’s largest training camps in World War One, and was the sole location for training the New Zealand Medical Corps. staff.
