"The official party and a portion of the crowd at the outdoor ceremony preceding the dedication of the Awapuni Hospital chapel yesterday. Addressing the gathering is the Member for Palmerston North (Mr Brown). Seated in the front row (from the left) are the Rev. J. Hubbard, Mrs and Mr A. R. McKegg, amd Mrs A. E. Mansford, the chairman of the Hospital Auxillary; back row, Rev. Father J. E. Cade, Canon H. E. K. Fry, Rev. P. A. Stead and the Rev. J. Jones."
