It helps patients cope, recover, and sometimes live longer
Programmes run before, during, and after treatment
Referrals come through oncology and are closely monitored
Exercise is carefully prescribed like medicine, not random activity
Treatment stresses the body, increasing need for fitness
Better fitness improves tolerance and recovery from treatment
Research shows reduced fatigue, anxiety, and muscle loss
It can lower recurrence risk and improve survival rates
Exercise helps clear chemotherapy toxins and restore function
Programmes are individualized using vital signs and testing
Exercise is now seen as essential, not optional, in cancer care
