Room 9 of Pahiatua School spent an educational day at the museum in Palmerston North, exploring what it was like to live in early Manawatu. They carried out many activities, such as washing clothes, sawing wood, going to school, making butter and many more. The class of Standard 4 and 5 (now called Years 6 and 7) were accompanied by their teacher, Lesley Courtney.
