Seats on the Roof

Description

This image was published in the November 26th, 1978, edition of the Tribune weekly newspaper with the caption: “Are these vacant seats for this weekend's General Election? People can draw their own conclusions about the significance of these armchairs on the roof of this city house. It's not the House of Parliament - it doesn't look much like the Beehive anyway, and that's in Wellington - but the coincidence of these empty chairs and this weekend's General Election was too much for our photographer to resist.”

There was no accompanying story.
