Scout and Guide Corner of All Saints Church. It features a plaque and lamp commemorating the three children of the Nicholls family killed at Tangiwai Bridge on 24 December 1953.

The entire Nicholls family perished in the Tangiwai disaster, which made them one of two of the worst affected families in New Zealand.  .  As well as the three boys, Jack, Jim and Paul that are named on the plaque, their parents Ray and Eva also died.  The three boys were all scouts and cubs. Scouts Corner also features framed copies of the Scouts Law and the Guide Law.
