Poem by Leonel Alvarado, that was affixed to the George Street windows of the Central Library in Palmerston North. Through the window can be seen the computer area of the library.
Leonel Alvarado was born in Honduras, and since 2002 has lived in Palmerston North. He is a poet and senior lecturer in Spanish in Massey University’s school of humanities. He also started the annual Latin American Film Festival at the City Library. The poem on this window is entitled, "Second-hand Wood"
