This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 22 November 1960 "Guests of the women's night at the Palmerton North Rotary Club were photographed with the president of the club (Mr. L.H. Spencer). They are (from the left): Mrs. and Mr. M.I. Austad, Mrs. and Mr. Spencer and Mrs. and Mr. B. Turner. Mr. Austad was manger of the New Zealand team to the Rome Olympic Games and Mr. Turner was captain of the New Zealand hockey team."
