This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 01 September 1960 "L. Rolls is here seen landing a classic straight left to the side of M. Tracey's head at the Manawatu Boxing Association's amateur tournament. Throughout the evening Rolls gave an almost flawless exhibition of boxing, winning all of his three bouts. He was presented with the cup for the most scientific boxer."
