This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 09 March 1961 "During the demonstration staged by the two visiting English swimmers to the Queen Elizabeth Technical College baths last Saturday, the two Wellington diving title-holders, W. McCarroll and Miss L. Golder, put on a display of high class diving. In the photo, W. McCarroll is seen doing a perfect backward dive also in position A."
