The area at the side of the Hut has gravel, here cyclists Brian Stewart and Mark Rabone can practice braking on unstable surfaces. As part of the road safety course, students are required to master handling of their motorcycles, including emergency stops, handling obstacle courses, slaloming between poles in the field beside the school.
