These images are part of the Elmar Studios negative collection.
It depicts the exterior of McBride Elwood Wadham and McKegg Barristers and Soliciters - the breeze-block wall and building still exist at 506 Main Street East as of 2026 - the site of Lumino Dental Clinic.
Behind the wall, the motor repair and tyre balancing workshops were demolished and replaced by the 7-storey Telephone Exchange building, known colloquially as the 'Telecom Tower'.
