This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 02 May 1958, page 8: "Members of the Massey College Council and the University of New Zealand grants committee combine for the photographer at Massey today when the committee visited the college to discuss the estimates for the years 1960-1964 inclusive. In the front row, second from the right, is Professor G.S. Peren, the principal and on his right Dr. G.A. Currie, the vice-chancellor of the University of New Zealand. The mayor (Mr. W.B. Tennent, M.P.) and Cr. J.A. Colquhoun can also be seen."
