Description

The Mayor, J A Nash, is wearing a hat, standing third from the left. This could possible be the fourth annual Ashhurst Flower Show, held on Wednesday 8 December, 1914. The newspapers of the time describe Mayor Nash as one of the judges. On that occasion, he apparently congratulated the organisers on their decision to donate half of the proceeds to the Soldier's Fund.
