Building Demolition - South corner of College Street and Fitzherbert Avenue
This building block's demolition began in early 2020. It was completely torn down before the COVID-19 lockdown, and construction has resumed now that we are out of lockdown.
The building block was built in the 1930s and was used by Jackson's Grocery Store until the 1960s. Later, the premises was used as a Bennett's Book Store and a craft store.
Recent uses of the buildings included a music school and an art gallery. A new liquor store will take it's place.
