The Manawatū Savage Club Hall on Campbell Street, Palmerston North. The Savage Club began as a gentlemen's club in London in 1857 before spreading throughout the colonial world. Starting as a literary society, it became an entertainment club where members would put on musical performances and sketches. As of 2020, the Manawatū Savage Club had 62 members and were considering re-branding as the Manawatū Entertainment Club.
