This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 26 July 1961 "The Palmerston North Milk Treatment Station is contributing its third technical officer for advisory work on milk supply for under-developed countries. The manager of the station, Mr. J.A. Dunlop, will be leaving probably on August 8 for New Delhi as dairy and plant management officer on a technical mission for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, with its headquarters in Rome. Mr. Dunlop, who has been connected with the processing of town milk supply since gaining his diploma at Massey Agricultural College in 1934, will assist and advise the Government of India on modern milk plant management methods. This renewable appointment is for 12 months."
