“The Frantic Pace Doesn’t Stop”
- Description
-
This image was published in the April 23rd, 1978, edition of the Tribune weekly newspaper with the caption “Rob Guest does some ‘cramming’”
An excerpt from the article written by Stephen Stewart read: “Rob Guest is a man on the move - and everything he does has to be done quickly, straight away - there isn't time. One day he's in Wellington for a recording session. Then he's in Palmerston North for stage rehearsals.”
…
“Rob Guest has been in Palmerston North in recent weeks to prepare for the Operatic Society's production of "Half A Sixpence" which had its opening night last night. The city has fond memories of Rob - It was he who starred in the enormously successful "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat" last year, another stage show of song and dance by the song and dance by the Operatic Society.”
This image forms part of the Manawatū Evening Standard Negative Collection. Unfortunately, only negatives between April and December 1978 are held.
