This image was taken for a story that ran in the Manawatu Evening Standard on 24 July, 1963. "Mr G. E. Kirkby, of Moree, New South Wales, makes a thorough examination of one of the entries in the 3rd National Hereford Show and Sale at the Showgrounds today. With some 25 entries, a spokesman estimated that the value of the assembled beasts would be a conservative £14,000."
