This tree is located near the corner of Main Street and Victoria Avenue. The building on the corner has businesses on the ground floor and residential spaces on the first floor. At the time of the photo, the businesses included the Bernina Sewing Centre and Rent-a-House Ltd. Wrapped around this building is another building, a health centre named Te Hā, located at 60 Victoria Avenue. Te Hā also has an entrance on Main Street. The health centre opened in May 2026. The creation of the health centre involved removing a house on Victoria Avenue to create a carpark and entrance way. The tree has been significantly pruned as part of the changes to the street edge. Also in this image are cars waiting at the intersection, morning traffic. The photo was taken at 8.47am.
