Description

The first International Agricutural Aviation Show was held at Milson Airport, Palmerston North, 9 - 10th November, 1956. Over 60 aircraft attended and a crowd of 2000 were entertained with a fly-pass of 64 planes. The show was opened by T P Shand Minister of Civil Aviation, 4th from left front row. G Tremaine, seated right Mayor gave a speeh as did Sir Matthew Oram, M.P. for Manawatu, standing at microphone.
