Longburn Freezing Works was established as the Longburn Slaughtering and Freezing Company Ltd in 1890, as a farmers’ co-operative. The photographer was the son of the then Manager, John Anderson. Identified people, front row from left: Chatfield; Archie Keith, Chief Engineer; Forbes.
