Movie includes the wedding partys arrival at and departure from the former St Peters Church on Ruahine Street, photographs being taken at the Victoria Esplanade and the reception at the Coronation Hall on Main Street.
George Roland Colling was an electrician. Agnes Ruth Abiss worked for Collinson and Cunninghame and later for Glendinnings Accountants. They lived in Boundary Road (now Tremaine Avenue) near Russell Street. The best man was Ian Robinson, a cousin of George and a farmer from Levin, the bridesmaid is unidentified, the older flower girl is Ruby Fairy, daughter of family friends, and the younger flower girl is Lynette Kersel. daughter of another friend.
