This image was published in the September 17th 1978 edition of the Tribune weekly newspaper with the caption: “Gaylene Angus is going to England soon- but her workmates from Skellerup's in Palmerston North didn't let her go easily. She was clapped in the stocks, and chained to a lamp-post in Tremaine Avenue. Here Liegh Smethurst and Bruce Colman make sure she doesn't escape from her embarrassing predicament too easily.”
