Match report by David Ogilvie: “Central Districts ended its second tournament with a thrilling outright against Otago. Central thus finished in fourth place after earlier sharing the bottom with Auckland - the latter a disappointing side throughout. After dismissing Otago for186, Central Districts was left with the task of scoring 112 runs for the win, and accomplished this without losing a wicket in only 63 minutes.”
