"The Sewing Ballet" - Display of Sewing Made by Intermediate Normal School Pupils

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 31 July 1958, page 17: "An attractive finale to the sewing ballet was executed by these dancers when they held aloft the letters to form the words mannequin parade. These youthful performers entertained a capacity audience in the hall of the Palmerston North Intermediate Normal School last night, when the parents viewed with appreciation the clothes which had been made by the pupils of the school."
