Memorial located on the Bunnythorpe recreation Ground at the corner of Raymonds Street and Dixon Line. The monument sits on a concrete base, with upper levels made of Coromandel granite and Italian marble.
Inscription reads: "For King and Country.This stone was erected by residents of the Bunnythorpe District to the memory of the men who gave their lives for Justice and Freedom in the Great War 1914-1919. They never fail, who die in a great cause."
Bunnythorpe District raised £3000 for patriotic purposes, with the monuments total cost being £420. The monument was unveiled on 12 December 1920 by Lieutenant Colonel William Livingstone Hatchwell Burgess, CB, CMG, DSO.
