"Public Meeting. Vegetarian Cooking Demonstration. World Vegetarian Day October 1. A vegetarian cooking demonstation will be presented by Robyn Laing, a cookery turor of Queen Elizabeth College. Vegetarian cooking can be tasty, interesting and simple. Robyn Laing will take you step by step through the planning, cooking and presentation of a vegetarian meal which can be adapted for all occasions. Everything must be eaten before the evening is over!! You may take the recipe sheets away. Also there will be time for sharing of information, and discussion on nutritional guidelines. At: the 'cooking demonstration room' in the Seventh Day Adventist Community Centre, 261 Ferguson Street (the part of Ferguson Street near Pitt Street) P.N. Tuesday, 1 Oct: 7.30pm. Collection. A donation box at door (the Vegetarian Society does not restrict access of the public to its meetings by charging an admission fee. However, a donation of $1.00/$2.00 woul help defray expenses.)
