St Peter's - Golden Jubilee 1902-1952
The first St Peters Anglican Church opened in July 1902. It was designed by Mr Larcomb and built by Mr Griggs for ₤410, on Ruahine Street across from the Broadway Avenue intersection. The original church was replaced by the present St Peters in 1961.
