Letter and poem written as a tribute to Dr F W Dry on his retirement from Massey Agricultural College

Dr Francis William Dry was a scientist who worked at Massey Agricultural College 1928-1958. He worked with sheep fibre types of wool, and the Drysdale sheep breed was named to recognise him. This letter is one of many, from former Massey Agricultural College students, bound together in a tribute book. The writer, Malcolm Driver was a student at the College 1933-1936, and at the time of writing worked at the Crop Research Division of the DSIR at Lincoln.
