This skimming station at Utuwai, in Pohangina County, was owned by the Apiti Co-op Dairy co. Ltd established in 1895. It was situated opposite the Utuwai School, on the northern side of the road junction. It is thought Charlie Searle of Piripiri is the gentleman on the far left of this photograph.
