The Regent Theatre in Broadway is the premier theatre in Palmerston North. it was built in 1930 as a movie theatre and acquired by the Palmerston North City Council in the 1990s when it was restored.

The Ladies Rest Rooms, built in 1937 were designed in the art deco style. They remain in use today with the addition of a men's toilets and the Palmerston North I-site attached.
