The Main Street Railway Station was closed in 1963 and replaced by the Milson Railway Station in October of 1963. This shot gives a good view of the racks with Hopwood Tower in the distance.

This tower once served the teaching college of Massey University. In 2016 the university sold the Hokowhitu campus, and at present the land is being redeveloped as a housing block meaning that this tower will be removed along with other offices...
