The Hokowhitu Bowling Club is situated at 279 Albert Street adjacent to Hokowhitu Park. The pavilion was built by, and the green laid down by, the Palmerston North City Council. It was then leased to the Club on the understanding that all further improvements would be born by the Club. These seats were bought as a result of donations by three members at the time.
