Description: The home James Davis built at 171 Albert Street, has become a Medical Centre and was altered and greatly extendedover a period of years. The owners have kept the additions in the style of the original, with a rough-cast exterior. The stained-glass windows are still there, though some have been moved. The big workshop behind the house, where James Davis was busy all day in his retirement, has been incorporated into the house. The large vegetable garden and orchard is now a car-park. The doctors are moving to Featherston2016 Street this year (2016) so there will be more changes to come.
