Mangatainoka School celebrated its Golden Jubilee in June 1939. This photograph was reproduced in the Manawatū Times on 10 June 1939, with the caption: "Mr. C. H. Brown, chairman of the School Committee, welcoming the ex-pupils on the first day of the celebrations."
