Written to Edith the postcard says "Just a card hoping it finds you still enjoying yourself at Foxton. Father arrived safely this morning and has a pleasant trip up. It has been an awful day here today, so rough and dirty. The wind is still blowing very strongly out. I am hoping it is not nearly as bad at Foxton. Now please give my love to mother I have not heard from her since I wrote last. Much love from Wilfed."
