Description

The Prince of Wales visited Palmerston North as part of his New Zealand tour, 4 May 1920. A huge crowd lined The Square for his drive through. Civic dignitaries are in the leading car, including the Town Clerk (back seat, light coloured hat), followed by the Prince standing in the next car.
